this is angel, delgado's wife, and the new born baby. isn't he a cutie!? this was taken within 2 weeks of the birth. Also, we asked them and Angel takes care of the baby during the day and delgado takes care of him at night. Where does the sleep fit in during the night time??? Good job dad, haha!
A Katusa had his Birthday party in Itaewon and Polly's kettle house was the top choice for the evening. A kettle is pretty much Kool aid mixed with Soju. The upstairs is where the pool table and dart board, and of course we were. one kettle two kettle three kettle, floor!
This picture was taken in Pangdodong. we went to a korean traditional bar and celebrated her Bday. It was a nice setup... and i got to meet a lot of her good friends. the girl to the right is Soo. someone brought a ice cream cake and blew up a popper and sprayed confetti all over the place. We had a blast.
We rented bikes and rode along the shore. it was so peaceful and relaxing actually. we made a few pit stops and this particular one is one of a famous drama set in korea. you cannot see it but to the left of kathy is a telephone booth and the sidewalk that she is standing on is all in the set. TAKE TWO!!!
on the way down to the Hot Springs Spa from the hotel we came across this statue. I have no idea what i was thinking but i just ran up to it and well did what you see in the picture. haha. you could say i had a Byoong shin (retarted) moment.
This is a picture of Sokcho beach. it is along the east coast of Korea, Pacific Ocean. It was a cold day but we had a blast watching the boats fly up onto the shore. we then continued on to the Hot Spring Spa, called Waterpia. This place was amazing! I'm so glad i got to go there!
we went to seoul tower and got a great view of the Han Gang... the Han river. This is the famous river that runs through Korea as well as Seoul. But you don't want to swim in it. Haha!
Kathy's friend Helen came to visit from California. this picture was taken right after we went ice skating in downtown Seoul. It was a blast, and oh... i was the only one who didn't fall, even though they all tried to knock me down.
The christmas decorations were very nice all over post. over by the Burker King they had huge stars set up and we stood underneath a few of them and got a few snapshots. it was freezing. they had one with white lights as shown, blue lights, and red lights. overall it was a pretty nice setup.
This was one of our Christmas pictures. We ate dinner at the Hartell House, a really ritzy place on post where all the generals and people like that eat. We got all dressed up and had a great dinner and followed up with a photo shoot. Castro was supposed to take pictures for us but he ditched us to go drink. I'll never forgive him!!! anyway i called a Katusa and he came down in PT shorts and Gortex jacket to come and save the day. Yes it is winter time too. haha.
